- The Professional Outplacement Assistance
Center (POAC) is a service of the Maryland Department of Labor,
Licensing and Regulation's Division of Workforce Development. POAC

CHILD CARE
For working parents, this is the associated need --
Every community in Maryland is served by one of twelve regional
child care resource and referral centers (CCR&Rs). Together, these
CCR&Rs make up the
Maryland
Child Care Resource Network, which provides leadership and
services designed to improve the quality, availability, and
affordability of child care in communities across the state.
That
site shows child care locations and training programs for
providers. This partnership is administered by the
Maryland Committee
for Children under a contract with the Maryland Department of
Human Resources.
In that network, the Montgomery County Child Care Resource and
Referral Center
also known as the Children's Resource Center
